  • Product Returns - Damages

    Returns

    Due to our hygiene & quality control there are some items that are ineligible for return. These include fragrances, wax, dye blocks, liquid dyes gold leaf silver leaf & candle making kits.

    All items are to be returned in original packaging where possible, in original condition suitable for resale with tracking. Buyer pays return postage.

    Returns for ‘change of mind’ Claims must be lodged within 5 business days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return or refund the item must be unused and in new condition. Original postage cost is not refundable and buyer pays return postage. For change of mind claims a 20% re-stocking fee will apply to enable us to process your claim, perform quality control checks and return the items back into stock and adjust our inventory online.

    Damages: Claims relating to damaged or missing goods must be lodged within 5 business days of receipt of goods. All items are packed carefully and in the rare event an item arrives damaged please fill in the ‘contact us’ form stating the damage and email us photos of the damaged goods & packaging to info@smeltcandlecreations.com.au including your order number on both forms of contact. One of our team members will contact you within 2 business days about the provisional outcome of your claim.

     

  • Shipping Information

    All orders are shipped via Australia Post with tracking. Small items may be sent as a letter with tracking.

    Once you have placed an order and payment has been received, your order will go into a queue to be packed in sequence. In most cases, your order will be despatched within 1 to 2 business days. During peak season (October – January) please allow 2 extra days for despatch.

    An email will be sent with tracking details once order has been despatched. Please allow 5 – 10 business days for deliveries outside Western Australia.

    Weekends, Public Holidays, Peak Season demand may result in extended delivery times.

    Please note that not all payment methods are instant. Payments by bank deposit, some payPal payments, will not be despatched until payment has been cleared into our bank account.

    Local Pickup – Please select local pickup at checkout so you are not charged postage. Payment must be paid by one of our payment options when order is placed. Your order confirmation ID is required when you pick up your order. Please wait until a confirmation email has been sent to you saying that your order is ready for collection. On a normal day orders should be ready for collection within 24 hours after payment has been received.

    SUPERIOR COCOSOY A05 By All Seasons Wax

    UPDATE: We’ve used the information we received through the testing period to re-adjust and improve our A05 Superior Soy Blend wax. We have now removed the palm and paraffin content from it’s genetic make-up and replaced it with a unique vegetable sourced additive and Coconut Wax!

    We’ve designed this particular wax to achieve reliable results even in cooler climates – with superior container adhesion, resisting shrinkage and frosting.
    Our Superior CocoSoy A05 has a beautiful and natural creamy soy finish and is formulated to retain a smooth and even surface, the coconut wax component gives it a showroom look.

    Superior CocoSoy A05 is the result of a 12 month laboratory trialling period where we explored different waxes and hundreds of different blend ratios to achieve a container wax which has outstanding hot and cold scent throw and performs consistently in adverse conditions – as well as the 3 month, interactive testing period where we distributed wax around the world to receive real life feedback.

    The Superior CocoSoy A05 has/is:

    • The first flaked CocoSoy wax on the market
    • Fantastic container adhesion which is resistant to frosting
    • Anti-shrink properties
    • An even wall-to-wall burn pool
    • A high fragrance tolerance of 8-10%
    • Fantastic oil absorption resulting in amazing hot and cold scent throw
    • A beautiful, creamy soy finish which remains firm.

    TESTING

    The magic of candle making is in your own testing.
    Finding which blends, wicks, jars, temperatures, percentages and fragrances yield the best results for you – we encourage you undertake many different tests and trials to achieve your perfect ready to go candle!

    TECHNICAL INFORMATION

    Melt Point: Peak melting temperature 47.5°C
    Congealing Point: Congealing temperature 43°C
    Suggested Heating Range: Range of heating 65 – 75°C
    Suggested Pouring Range: Pouring range 45°C – 65°C
    Suggested Max Fragrance Load: 8-10% – this depends on the potency of the fragrance so testing is required.
    Contents: Made up primarily of natural soy bean and blended Coconut wax, the A05 also contains a plant based additive which assists the candle setting smoothly.
    Please note these figures are a recommendation and not instructions. If you are having difficulties achieving desired results, we recommend testing with different fragrance oils at different temperatures.
